Sharing the magic of the holidays

While it still feels warm outside, we are already preparing for the holidays! At Be Leadership, our 2023 Stuff a Stocking project is well underway. Now in its the fifth year, this project provides 300 stockings to children ages 3-16 whose families use the Runnymede Foodbank.

Each of our stockings is filled with age-appropriate gifts from a broad range of categories, including crafts, hygiene, books, clothing, and small toys. We love sponsoring this project, and we rely on the partnership of many supporters across the community. If you’d like to sponsor a stocking or donate to the cause, you can reach out or visit our Amazon wish list. We can stuff a stocking for you here or we can post you an empty stocking and you can fill one yourself and return it to us.

One in three people will develop dementia in their lifetime. Our August social partner was Alzheimer’s Research UK, who are working toward a cure.

In July we supported the work of one of our social partners, Human Needs Project.

Worldwide, over a billion people live in slums, and 250,000 of them live in Kibera in Kenya. Human Needs Project has created Kibera Town Centre to provide the essential infrastructure and social services to empower the residents of Kibera to break out of poverty. Thank you Human Needs Project for everything you do.

Our March charity partner is Macmillan Cancer and we are proud to support the work they do with patients, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.

Cancer is an illness that crosses all boundaries and sadly most of us have been touched by it in some way. Macmillan offers support to patients from diagnosis through to treatment and beyond, ensuring people don’t have to face these challenges alone.
